From the Metro: Red Line to the Bethesda station. Exit to Woodmont Avenue and walk (left) for about two blocks. Make a right onto Hampden Lane. Our studio is the third establishment on the left hand side.

From points North-West:
From outside the Beltway, take 270 South to 495 split, bare left for 495 East/Silver Spring. Stay on 495 and exit via the left lane towards Bethesda, Route 355 South. Follow 355 South past the Naval Medical Center on the left and NIH on the right and once you get into the heart of Bethesda and cross over the intersection of East-West Highway (Route 410 on left side) and Old Georgetown Road (on the right), you will take the second turn RIGHT after that, into Hampden Lane. Go through the first traffic light and the Studio is on the left.

From the points South:
Take 95 South to 495 West/Silver Spring/Northern Virginia. Take Exit 33 South/Connecticut Avenue towards Chevy Chase. Continue South and turn RIGHT into East-West Highway/Route 410. Stay to the left hand lane and at the intersection with Wisconsin Avenue/Route 355, turn LEFT. Then turn SECOND RIGHT into Hampden Lane. Continue through first traffic light and the Studio is on the left.

From Virginia:
Take 495 West towards Rockville. Stay on 495 and take Exit 36 onto Old Georgetown Road South towards Bethesda. Proceed to the end of Old Georgetown Road and turn RIGHT into Woodmont Avenue. Turn RIGHT into Hampden Lane at the 3rd traffic light. The Studio is on the left.

From Washington DC:
Proceed North on Wisconsin Avenue, across Bradley Blvd. Make a LEFT onto Woodmont Avenue. Go 3 blocks and make a Left onto Hampden Lane. The Studio is on the left.

Parking:
Public Parking Garage available on Elm Street, one block south of Hampden Lane (behind our studio). Paid until 10:00 p.m.
Metered street parking available, and in the strip mall adjacent to the studio. Paid until 9:00 p.m.
Bethesda Library Parking Lot on Arlington Road and Hampden Lane one block from studio. Make a right onto Arlington road, and immediate left to into the parking lot. Paid until 2:00 p.m.
On the corner of Woodmont Avenue and Bethesda Avenue, two blocks south.

Directions from Metro - Friendship Heights station (red line)
- Exit at Jenifer St.
- Turn right after you have exited the elevator area.
- Cross Wisconsin Ave. at the crosswalk by the used car dealership.
- Turn right and walk past the shops (Maill Boxes Etc., furniture).
- The entrance to the studio is between the parking garage and Paul's (liquor store). The door is labelled "No Solicitors."
- Go up the stairs and down the hallway. CChevy Chase Ballroom will be on your left.

Directions from D.C.
- Take Wisconsin Ave. North. Nearby landmarks include the Fox Channel 5 station. Chevy Chase Ballroom is before the Friendship Heights Metro station.
- Turn right at the Nations Bank parking lot.
- See above.

Directions from the Beltway
- Take Wisconsin Ave. (MD Rt. 355) South towards Bethesda.
- Continue on Wisconsin Ave. through Betheesda and into Chevy Chase. The Friendship Heights Metro will be on the left and Mazza Galleria will be on the right as you approach.
- Turn left on Harrison. You may park in the Nations Bank parking lot.

From Maryland Beltway 495 to Wisconsin Ave (Rt 355S). Follow Wisconsin for about 2 miles to Cheltenham Rd in Bethesda. Look for Chevy Chase Cars as you approach going south. Du Shor Dance Studio is located on the right side of the street, on the second floor at 7800 Wisconsin, on the corner of Cheltenham Rd, above Decorators Hardware Showroom. Entrance on Wisconsin Ave. From the Bethesda Metro Stop, go up the escaltors to Wisconsin Ave, then go north on Wisconsin Ave, a few blocks, DuShor is on the corner across Cheltenham Rd.

From the DC area, go North on Wisconsin, past East-West Hiway several blocks to Cheltenham. Chevy Chase Cars will be on the right, both sides of Cheltenham and Du-Shor will be across the street, North Corner, Second Floor, enter from Wisconsin, Door to the right of the Decorator Hardware Showroom. Studio is on the second floor, easy to see from the street.

Parking Garage: Turn right going south or left going North on Cheltenham Rd and take the first left on Woodmont drive. There is a county parking garage on the right in that block that is free on weekends and very cheap (i.e. $1) in the evening during the week. Or park on the Street on Wisconsin free or the side steets on the east side of Wisconsin but feed the meters until 10:00 pm.

By Car:
From the Capital Beltway (Interstate 495), take exit 40 on the outer loop or exit 41 east on the inner loop. Take Clara Barton/Cabin John Parkway to the MacArthur Boulevard/Glen Echo exit. Make a left onto MacArthur Boulevard. Cross Goldsboro Road and then make a left onto Oxford Road where you will see our parking lot.
From downtown Washington, take Massachusetts Avenue in the northwest direction, to its end at Goldsboro Road, turn left, and continue to MacArthur Boulevard. Turn right on MacArthur Boulevard and take an immediate left onto Oxford Road where you will see our parking lot.

By Public Transportation:
Take Montgomery County Ride-On bus #29 operating daily from the Friendship Heights and Bethesda metro stations on the Red Line. For information on rates and schedules visit Montgomery County Transit.

Parking:
Parking for Glen Echo is in a parking lot located just off MacArthur Boulevard at Oxford Road, across from the Glen Echo Shopping Center. From the parking lot, follow the path across the Minnehaha Creek bridge and enter the park.

From Maryland. First you must decide if it is best to travel through DC or via the beltway. We live near Seven Corners within the beltway. So here goes

From the Beltway
- Exit from the Beltway in Virginia at the Rte 50, Arlington Boulevard toward Annandale.
- Travel approx. 3 miles to Patrick Henry Drive (Home Depot on the right).
- Turn right and continue across route 7 LLeesburg Pike through neighborhood to dead end or Beach Way Drive.
- Turn right travel to next dead end
- Turn left onto Potterton Dr.
- You immediately cross a small bridge and Potterton turns into Waterway. About quarter of a mile on the left is our house.

From DC
- Take Rte 50 towards Virginia.
- Just before Seven Corners approximately 4 miles turn left at Patrick Henry (McDonald's and Home Depot on left).
- Continue across route 7 Leesburg Pike through neighborhood to dead end to
Beach Way Drive.
- Turn right. Travel one block to next dead end
- Turn left onto Potterton Dr.
- You immediately cross a small bridge and Potterton turns into Waterway. About quarter of a mile on the left is our house.

From DC
- Take I-395 South and exit at Kings Street West.
- King Street turns into Leesburg Pike.
- Travel on Leesburg Pike for about 4 miles to stop light at Patrick Henry and turn left (Sears is just beyond the stop light at Patrick
Henry- Don't pass Sears).
- Continue through neighborhood to dead-end or Beach Way Drive
- Turn right. Travel one block to next deadend
- Turn left onto Potterton Dr.
- You immediately cross a small bridge andd Potterton turns into Waterway. About a quarter of a mile on the left is our house.

At the corner of N. Highland and Lee Hwy. The house with the cupola located next to the tennis course at Lyon Village Park. Just one block east of the intersection of Lee Hwy. and Spout Run Parkway.

From I-495
- Take 66 east; exit 72, Spout Run/Lee Hwyyy.
- Turn right at the exit light onto Lee Hwy.
- Go through the first light (intersection of Lee Hwy. and Spout Run).
- Turn right at the next light onto No. Highland.
- Immediate right onto N. 20th and the Lyon Village Community House will be in front of you.

From the GW Parkway West
- Take the Spout Run Parkway to the second light
- Left onto Lee Highway
- Right onto NNNo. Highland
- Immediate right to the Lyon Village Community House.

By Metro
The Clarendon Metro station is located at the intersection of Wilson, Hartford, and Highland streets. Exit the metro station and walk north on Highland Street. Highland can be recognized by a prominent red-brick church visible from the metro. Lyon Village community center is five blocks down Highland.
